Unmindful, abstracted, befuddled.

Like when you tell your sister to bring your charger but she comes empty-handed

And you’re left with a phone on 3% because you failed to close all your tabs.

When grandpa tells you the same story he already told you twice this week

And your acting skills get worse each time. You nod your head and try your best to stay engaged When all you can think about is what’s for dinner.

Forget you, forget me, forget it not.

Take out the trash, get rid of it. Let the memory traces fade.
